About the “Resistance is Futile” line of products
We decided to give our “chaotic” pattern cutting boards the name “Resistance is Futile” as an homage to The Borg intially introduced in Star Trek: The Next Generation. “Resistance is Futile” is a common phrase uttered by the Borg and the pattern of this design often resembles the design of a Borg Cube.
Given the nature of how these boards are created, it is impossible to truly recreate the same pattern in subsequent batches.
